Fiddlesticks is a mercenary in the garb of a software engineer working at an undisclosed location. While not plying his trade, he can be found in any one of the numerous eat-out joints in his city, savouring what the city’s best cooks have for the palate. A true connoisseur of food, he considers himself an artist; the food is his paint, the cutlery his paintbrushes and his stomach is his canvas.
He first started writing on his blog Shetty’s Take: Merciless musings of a libertarian as an avenue to vent out his frustration at society, especially the hypocrisy and misgivings of the Indian society towards myriad issues. Being an avid food lover, he also started a food blog Gastronomical G-spot, documenting his adventures in the gastronomical world and his trips to eat-out joints with his friends.
A merciless libertarian, a voracious non-vegetarian, a happy-go-lucky Arien, an energetic humanitarian, and above all, a kind and gentle heathen rationalist, Fiddlesticks is a believer in the doctrine of “I don’t know” when it comes to the, erm, unknown, and he is on an indefinite crusade against the dark forces of Godorwhatever. Extemely athletic despite his slightly bulky appearance, he uses this to his advantage against unsuspecting meanies, and coupled with his knowledge of karate, he sure can kick some butt. A rare quality in him is he’s an extemely good listener (so he’s been told on good authority), and so people have deposited a lot of sob stories/personal stories with him, and thus far there’s been no breach into the vault. He hopes to keep it that way, and so far is doing a good job of it.
